After working with students who experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health services Dean completed a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning at Leicester University and founded Positive Behaviour Strategies Ltd. Dean is a Trainer Independent Researcher, Behaviour Consultant and Conference Speaker in the UK and abroad. In 2022 Dean founded Behaviour Smart Ltd. Dean's talks cover a wide range of topics including, Post incident learning, Understanding behaviour, Emotional intelligence, Preventing, managing and resolving conflict, Policy and documentation.

Our training doesn't only relate to Behaviour Smart and recording incidents. We cover all aspects of managing distressed behaviour including understanding aggression, de-escalation techniques, environmental aspects of behaviour, post incident learning, policy and documentation and Smart Plans.
